I wanted to watch a Jake Gyllenhaal movie before he became Larger Than Life Jake of “Ambulance” and “Velvet Buzzsaw.”  I chose right.  

Am always curious about time travel movies and this one works fine until it changes the rules at the very end and makes it nonsensical.   But I like Jake as a normal guy in extraordinary situations and not the other way around.
