Everything Everywhere All at Once

★★★★★ Liked Rewatched

Simply one of the most creative, enjoyable and entertaining movies I’ve ever seen. Only the second movie I can that I walked out and thought “Did I really just see that?” Everyone should see this movie. I loved this so much I even bought the T-shirt (EEAAW).

The Name of the Rose

I have loved this movie since it was first released in 1986. A German exchange student told me about it at school. It still holds up with a murder mystery wrapped around the meeting of religious faiths at an Italian Abbey. Yes, it sounds tedious but it plays so wonderfully. A stellar cast in the dirt, grime and blood of the Italian mountians. There's some excellent performances and a priceless final line that closes the movie.

A mostly good thriller with an entertaining premise. It was good - not great - and sometimes cheesy.

Warfare

Holy shit. I went into this knowing nothing about it and I was transfixed. Intense, dirty and harrowing.

All too often war movies present "War is heck". This one shows that "War is Hell".

I wanted to like this movie, but I’m just not sure what it’s about.

The Long Shadow

Outstanding true story of Britain’s most infamous killers. An awesome cast with the tone of 1970’s midlands Britain. The pacing is fantastic and some sensitive performances in a story that is harrowing and tense. It’s a shame that this wont get a wider release as it deserves it. I was very close to giving this 4 1/2.
