This could have been a great expose on Ed and Lorraine Warren, and the grift they ran for 50 years. Instead, the filmmakers decided to shit out a totally credulous junk doc starring a hilariously pathetic family of trailer-park boneheads with what one has to assume they thought was a really convincing scam. Absolutely absurd without managing to be interesting. Stay away.

I could say so many thing about this perfect film.
I might argue it’s Tarantino’s best, because he shows a restraint and maturity that he never would again, before or since. I could call out the gorgeous, convoluted construction of the narrative; the perfection of the shot choices, lighting, and framing; the career-best performances of at least four amazing actors. None of it would adequately convey why this movie is so right.
