First impressions: absolute delight - an exhilarating collision of action and comedy. And it wouldn't have worked if you didn't buy into the bonds forged within this ragtag bunch you've only just met.
Caught the 2.15am show. The 2 hours just melt away. Still feeling pumped while waiting for the first train. It's too bad they don't have any more shows at this timing...

Great set pieces here. Even those that have appeared in the trailers made me gasp. I liked the movie for how scale of the monsters was presented to the audience (even if it meant watching Godzilla's legs a fair bit. what a tease!). However, I wanted more of Ken Watanabe and Bryan Cranston. The main protagonist here isn't very interesting. Seems like the camera is following him just to have an excuse to run into non-stop kaiju trouble.
