110 minute exceptionally homoerotic navy recruitment ad

Hadn't managed to bring myself to watch this until now because the remake scared me so much as a kid. Don't think this one is gonna cause as much lasting impact on me (due to me not being nine years old any more) but it did still give me a good scare when she came out the tv despite knowing exactly what was about to happen
I haven't seen this in years (although I listen to the soundtrack on a regular basis) but I watched Curse of the Golden Flower recently and found it very underwhelming so I wanted to see if I enjoyed this one as much as I did when I was a kid and the answer is. No, but it is still gorgeous to look at, and the story is enjoyable and somewhat emotionally engaging once the main dude stops being a creep in a way that's apparently meant to be endearing. Style over substance but with a huge amount of style.
