Lowkey still probably one of the greatest and smartest creature reveals of all time.

Being that the source material for this is a young adult novel, I can’t fault it too much for being more juvenile. But I can fault it for being awkwardly paced, a little dull, and full of tired cliches and humor that doesn’t quite land. I mean seriously, something about it left me feeling like a chunk of story just wasn’t there. The kills we got were definitely fun and I enjoyed the clown design here, but when I think of great YA horror, I think of Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark and I know it can be done.

Dude is literally cheating on his wife and being a creep watching a sex tape of an ex and has the audacity to get mad at her when an ex of hers from 10 years ago is just existing in the same town as them again? Ain’t no way.

This movie is so genuinely funny I don’t understand the hate 🖐🏻😔
