More than overcomes a convoluted start and finds the proper sandwalk rhythm to become both a stirring standalone film and a setup for a third installment. I missed the warmth that Jason Momoa and Oscar Isaac brought to the (otherwise chilly) first film, but Part Two grows to become better overall.

I especially loved the final melodramatic moments — they felt like space William Wyler.
