Wild film to see the day after Friendship. Moving stuff! Some great 16mm cinematography.

Starts as a JRPG cutscene, ends as Power Rangers. Not nearly as…anything as that might suggest. Half an interesting movie! Pity about the lore.

I would have made this my whole personality if I saw it 20 years ago.

Some compelling, and occasionally moving, filmmaking used for radical centrism. Begging Adam Driver that if he must help these directors make their long gestating ion projects, please have them dust off the script and give them a hard look before filming.

Jon Voight doing the ‘call the ambulance, but not for me!’ meme is maybe the hardest I have laughed in a movie this year, and I believe it was intentional.
