"12 Monkeys" meets "Groundhog Day" in this time travel yarn in which Jake Gyllenhaal's consciousness is transported back in time to prevent a train bombing. The bad news is that he has only eight minutes, the good news is that if he fails Vera Farmiga can keep sending him back to try again ... up to a point anyway. Duncan Jones (director of "Moon") has crafted a tense and reasonably intelligent sci-fi tale that sustains interest in spite of the shaky premise. Worth a look.
