I left and I still felt that way, even worse maybe.
This movie was beautiful. It was stunning visually and did things with the movie medium that made it engrossing and downright heroic visually.
As a trans person still accustoming to and understanding my identity after coming from a smaller town mentality family, Owen’s story should have been the motivator for me, but I found it hollow and detached. To the point where the big emotional outburst at the end…
