I thought I’d relate since it’s flathunting in Canada but no. All of my viewings lasted less than 12 mins. In only one instance I sat and talked politics with a Turk (immigration mostly. Even immigrants in Canada are quite opposed to immigration or Indian immigration. They love an NZer).
This movie doesn’t capture the experience of applying to bajillion flats, understanding as soon as you walk in that you won’t live here, telling the guy “um I’ll keep looking”…

I’m in Toronto so all the Canadians in my theatre cackled extra hard at all the Canada jokes. Pretty boy Ryan Reynolds, they like. See the CN tower say “Look! The CN tower!” (CN tower is this ugly iconic knockoff skytower the Canadians love).
Saw an interview with Ryan Reynolds, said they all had writers block forever until High Jackman floated the idea of returning as Wolverine. Said after that the whole script just fell into place. Fucking how?
