Maximum cringe comedy at times but handled by some of the funniest people around. Overall it’s pretty fun and sweet and yes I teared up like a loser by the end so that’s a rom-com success in my book.

I thought I was going to see a director’s cut of Midsommar but SURPRISE we were instead the first public audience for Beau is Afraid. I can’t begin to unscramble my brain at the moment to coherently process what I just saw. Totally surreal, and bizarre but at the same time quite hilarious and human. I just hope Ari is ok.
