If remakes are an inevitability then can we get more remakes like this please? leveraging modern technology and techniques to enhance something that was told decades (or in this case a whole century) ago.

Watching these almost back to back it's becoming hard to differentiate one from the other. There are certain films that are made so perfectly, that feel so raw and personal that they almost feel too delicate to watch too closely. Almost like they're a physical thing that the slightest gust of wind will cause the whole thing to collapse and crumble.
