An incredibly epic immersing and compelling Viking revenge tale whilst still having a little feel of Eggers’ previous films considering the budget and the studio interference in post-production that Eggers has mentioned. It’s brutal, fascinating and exhilarating.
Incredible cinematography and breathtaking visuals as you’d come to expect from a Robert Eggers and Jarin Blaschke team up.
The costume designs are marvellous, along with the sound and set designs.
There wasn’t a bad performance from the star studded cast; Alexander Skarsgård…

Been anticipating this one for a while but was holding out on watching it for it to release it in cinemas in the UK, thankfully they was screening it at my local!
Yep, what an outstanding picture. One of the greatest performances of the (last) year from Renate Reinsve as she plays a woman who doesn’t know what she needs or wants in life and tries to deal with life’s ups and downs, Reinsve is compelling, thrilling and emotional.…

Without a doubt an imaginative, creative, fun and bonkers thrill ride from start to finish! It’s style is so bold and out there, it looks beautiful and sounds fantastic. The performances are great, I can imagine that the whole cast had an such a fun time filming this but Michelle Yeoh’s performance was the standout for me. The story had me engaged pretty much throughout; a rollercoaster of emotions! It’s a lot to digest with quite literally everything, everywhere all at once which did feel a little jarring at times but it’s entertaining, refreshing and I had a blast watching!

Yep, so clear of the original. Wasn’t huge on the original but this is just a cut above. Absolutely loved it. So much more thrilling, emotional and just an all round better quality of film. All round fantastic performances. Jon Hamm, what an actor! Touching to see Val Kilmer too. The pacing was brilliant, absolutely flew by and didn’t feel like just over 2 hours at all. Do yourself a favour a check it out, a must watch on the biggest screen possible, you will not be disappointed!
