Bresson, only one, the artist. First in color, green and blue. Composition, the simplicity. Flow, image to image, rhythm. Movement, of objects, models… Sounds, of cars, doors, footsteps… Beautiful, beginning to end, sublime. Truth in art.

If I’m no use to others, at least I make the most of life. I observe nature. Observing nature is better than playing backgammon. Or doing nothing.

There are filmmakers that “wants to be” (or recognized as) “the next Tarkovsky” (haven’t seen them all yet). But, for me, the only one that comes close to him isn’t even there… Abbas Kiarostami.
