"there's something out there. that...that witch in the cellar is only part of it. it lives...out in those woods, in the dark...something...something that's come back from the dead."

this film is a absolute masterpiece. an iconic piece of horror cinema. perfect way for me to end my 24th birthday.

I'm still in love with ash williams. I don't know if I wanna be him or be with him.

what was the point of this? what was the point of any of this?

hurry up tomorrow is one of the best albums to come out in 2025 yet its film is one of the worst things I have ever seen. I would have been fine if this film was music videos in film form. a story could have been told from the songs and their lyrics but no.…

"free your mind."

god damn, this movie is a absolute action-packed masterpiece. such a dark yet inventive story written by the wachowski sisters. to me, this film's world/universe is a dystopian horror nightmare yet the world of the matrix is incredible. the fighting scenes are beautifully chaotic yet so fucking badass. there will be no other movie to include a scene where the main character dodges bullets by doing cartwheels. it's pure perfection.

I absolutely love the green colour palette.…

"We just lost a really hot MILF."

no. just no. the extremely bad cgi is absolutely ugly to look at. the special effects was one of the highlights of the other films. this film just ruined all of it. (apart from the opening credits and the ending)

the characters are so one dimensional and the acting is atrocious. I am supposed to care about these characters? cause I don't. I wasn't rooting for the characters to escape. I was rooting…

"you met me in a very strange time in my life."

what an absolute masterpiece of film making. I love the gritty style of fight club. it's a dark statistical take that explores the themes of toxic masculinity, consumerism, perfectionism, rebellion, repression and the unconscious mind. it's a perfect adaption of the book written by chuck palahniuk (which I do recommend you read as the majority of the dialogue is taken from the book. I have recently finished reading it…
