SECOND VIEWING:
I’m pretty sure everyone understands how unbelievable this film is…in of every possible aspect. But upon rewatching, I have cemented the third act of this film as my favorite third act ever in a film. This is not influenced by recent viewing, nor am I being delusional; it is simply my opinion, which you can accept or not.
The third act fires on all cylinders, wrapping up the story in a manner that leaves you blankly staring and reminiscing as the credits roll. It included visceral scenes, an empowering score, enthralling action, and a dramatic conclusion—all in one powerful act.
