This one infuriated me, because there are moments where it feels ALIVE and wonderful, but just as many, if not more, where it's just so. Boring. I almost ed out during. But the acting is great, Diana Ross in particular being wonderful as Billie. And the ending sequence was perfect. But too much of it dragged on by for me to truly enjoy it.

And so we have it, the end of Phase 2- or the start of Phase 3? I'd really prefer to believe the former, tbh.

But this is an enjoyable film, nice and mostly self-contained, which is something the MCU needed for a change of pace. At the same time though, the formula is running a little stale. While the ending promises something more for Evangeline Lily's character for the future, she deserved more in the film to begin with. The…
