The first time I watched this, I categorized it as a pretty decent timeloop movie. I think it's actually better than I , and Gyllenhaal as usual is pretty fantastic throughout the movie-- he does a great job of playing earnest and motivated. Throughout the movie, tension is built, as his character attempts to solve the bombing of the train. Other actors like Vera Farmiga, Jeffrey Wright, and Michelle Monaghan also are fantastic-- even if some of their characters are a little more static than others.
