oh my god man. genuine life changing cinema. the imax screen set my soul on fire. more words cannot describe the impact this has had on me watching it in the most special of ways. happy anniversary interstellar. my soul is on fire

might go down with time but for now this is is. so fun, so lively, so funny, so dark, so anxious, so ionate, and holy fuck so depressing. that ending left me stunned. this was incredible in a way i didn’t think movies this year could be (other than dune 2). this and challengers shocked me. ouch man. it was such a fun time until it wasn’t. also the final scene sort of reminded me of this painting of ivan the terrible. it was the eyes that spoke to me

the past 8 weeks of watching this show have been some of the most entertaining and enjoyable prestige tv i have ever seen. every week had me locked in beyond belief at the edge of my seat without fail. also holy fuck sofia falcone/gigante was and incredible antagonist for the show and oz. i don’t know any other glazing words to use for her at the moment but she was THE presence on the show by and large.

great old noir movie with some enthralling twist and turns throughout. i also love the slick way everyone especially marlowe talks in this movie. also the cool demeanor marlowe has throughout the entire movie was a treat to see

holy shit i forgot just how incredible this movie was. and that third act battle is one of the greatest ever made

i don’t know how i had this at a 7 before. movies like this make the 90s look so fun to live in.

Man i’m sick. What an incredible show. bureaucracies never cease to make me sick in stories like these, where unmitigated horrors are caused by men wanting promotions at great costs. 

Coincidentally, while i was watching this show yesterday, a biolab explodes in atlanta where i live and today we received an alert through the city to stay indoors as a chlorine smelling cloud begins to cover the city. hopefully nothing comes of it, but i find this all to be really tragic luck.

but on a more cheerful note this is my 1000th movie watched!!! (i’m counting it) so that’s nice

this kid reminded me so much of my past self that it physically hurt at times but i loved it so much. i don’t know how to put this into words but i loved this so much. so funny, so sweet, and so relatable.

seeing this in near 100 degree weather in the middle of july just felt right. i forget just how fun this movie can be and just how depressing it gets. life is insane

that was one of the greatest movies i have ever seen in my life. also the longest at a whopping 4 hours straight. but that was one of the best experiences i have ever had in a movie ever bar none. the last 30 minutes of this movie was just tears and awe. that is the realest most courageous friend group of all time. YOU BOW TO NO ONE!!!!!!!!

the third act of this movie is one of the single greatest third acts i’ve ever seen in my life. i had no real idea what to think about going into this one since i knew nothing past fellowship, but oh my god. oh my god. The battle of helms deep is the best major battle ive ever seen. and i got to see this in theaters for the first time too??!!!!! incredible 

how the hell are they gonna top this??????
and this is officially the longest movie i’ve ever seen in theaters. at least until tomorrow with the finale

i haven’t seen this movie in a long number of years and i don’t think i gave it the attention it deserved back then. but seeing this in theaters was something truly special. and i still have the extended cuts of both the two towers and return of the king to watch in theaters in the next 2 days. about 8 hours of greatness left and i can’t wait
