Perhaps my bias is too strong with this film, but that hasn't stopped me from giving a film an inflated rating before.
I was fortunate enough to not have film spoiled for me, so the twists we're genuinely surprising, and the plot was very engaging and tense.
You can only make a whole film on a train so engaging, but splicing in element's of time travel with lot's trial and error to find the suspect make it a stand out in the thriller genre.
And I must point out that Jeffery Wright once again impress me with one of his performances, I should definitely look into more films he stars in.
Overall, nostalgia carries hard, but the film still shows it's writing and plot have not worn thin with time, and Gyllenhaal is a phenomenal actor.
