okay team, this would have been 5 stars if I had actually taken the time to watch the first one. i honestly did not know what to expect going into it because my dune related knowledge was slim, i wasn’t too confused so I count this as a win! I will be educating myself on the dune universe to be prepped for the future, so don’t worry. 💪

finishing thoughts:
1. those worms towards the end were actually so big i was not expecting that
2. glad austin butlers character died
3. thought her name was johnny the whole time until i was googling after
4. didn’t get the popcorn bucket, but was thinking of the song the whole time 💔
