A really fun romp. The length is a bit of a problem, it is noticeable long. At least it feels it keeps moving. It never really drags but I think the heavier, more apocalyptic tone to the movie really accentuates how long the movie feels. It’s also interesting that the AI entity becomes a weirdly lovecraftian god thing in this. Especially with the bit where Ethan Hunt needs to put on a creepy mask and lay down in a weird…
One of the best Batman movies. Sure the animation is a bit dated and it seems to rush through a couple plot points but it’s got a decent mystery for Bats to solve, some fun action, a nice touch of horror and the second best theme song in all of Batdom. The best theme song obviously being the theme song to the 1966 tv series.
It’s a little weird that not many of Batman movies involve mysteries or the horror elements that really make Batman sing.
