The most wholesome movie watching experience I've had in a long time. I just loved this one.

Almodóvar has been a hit or miss director for me, but it seems like his work is slowly growing on me more. This might be my favorite film of his (out of the ones I have seen, of course).

A classic. One of the greatest westerns of all time. One of the coolest films ever made.

The last thirty minutes are just out of this world...

What a wonderful rewatch. I always enjoyed the story, which is fast-paced and constantly amusing, but this time I was more invested in the characters and found the ending more moving than I did the first time around. I like Wes Anderson's visual style and Robert Yeoman's camerawork very much in this one, and the dialogue is fantastic. Ralph Fiennes is great, and I think M. Gustave is his finest role in years. This is my favorite Wes Anderson film so far. Easily.
