Finally caught up with this one, and while I enjoyed it, it wasn't quite the movie I thought it was going to be. The film is beautiful and engrossing, fully pulling you into its world. Adrien Brody, Felicity Jones and Guy Pearce are excellent and fully deserving of all of their accolades. Ultimately though I felt like the film was let down by its second act. I'm not sure exactly what I think of this yet, but all I know is that it went up by a star rating by the time it had finished. I found the beginning to be strangely stilted and artificial, and I wasn't at all convinced that Tom and Nicole were right for their roles.
