it' s me, Andy Waldron.

This review may contain spoilers. I can handle the truth.
my favorite part was the lil' whispered "yes!" at the end of "hidden place"
my SECOND favorite part was when we (the audience of the 7:15p screening at amc empire 25) clapped for each musician during the thank yous.
You know, I avoided seeing We're All Going to the World's Fair because, as someone who would spend every other weekend at my dad's condo in Jersey silently dissociating through my adolescence by reblogging carefully crafted photosets of neon-adorned, suburban landscapes with yellow text reading lyrics from Alex G's "Forever" superimposed on them like non-diegetic closed captions stalking an unseen protagonist, I didn't think I was ready to relive the feelings I had back then in public at this age.
Turns out, after seeing this next film from Jane Schoenbrun... I was right! Uh-oh!
Seeing this at Town Hall with…
(a) an excellent live band playing the score/all those wild Bowie songs
(b) my sister doing the "You remind me of the babe" intro like we did as kids :-)
(c) a full audience applauding the Worm and booing Toby (who is, I cannot stress this enough, a helpless infant)
…was a trip!
