Well known as one of those movies which lost a shed load of money - however I don't think it's that bad a movie. Yes, Costner is mildly interesting but it's really Dennis Hopper who steals the show as the bad guy. If you haven't seen this at all or recently, it is worth revisiting as its not as bad as the panning it got.

Not so much a movie but a comic book on screen. The visuals on this movie are quite arresting and are the best thing about this movie. The Spartans seem to have the 'Scottish' twang about them with GERARD BUTLER taking the lead role. And, it's all so very camp with the soldiers looking like they are straight out of a 70's discotheque! Interesting to note that this was also Michael Fassbender's first movie. Very arty and some terrible performances but definitely worth a look.

The classic musical featuring 3 of the greats - still looks as brilliant today as it always has and the dance routines look as fresh and mesmerising. It's impossible not to fall for this movie's charms.

Scorsese doing what he does best, a tale of mafia folk in 70's Las Vegas. If you are a fan of Scorsese, you will know what to expect - it's brutal in parts but needs to be. Top notch performances from De Niro, Pesci and particularly Sharon Stone who was never better.

Not as tight as his earlier work, particularly Goodfellas but definitely worth a watch.
