Dune. Sand. Worms. Explosions. Muad’dib. Austin Butler finally kicked the Elvis voice. I loved the cinematography of Part 1, and it’s only better in Part 2. Hyper futuristic, yet ancient. I so appreciate Dune 1 setting up the world so that this movie can get right into it. The pace was much faster than Dune 1. My only complaint is that the end felt rushed for my taste. I felt a little disoriented by how they chose to bleed certain scenes into the next, but SEE THIS IN IMAX!!! Javier Bardem was my favorite performance.
