Brad Pitt's Appalachian accent seems a bit too theatrical and overdone to my ears. However, I realized it might be intentional—a portrayal of a hillbilly who is exaggerating his accent for added flair when dealing with Nazis and his comrades. I also think Pitt and Tarantino likely intended it that way. It wouldn’t be incongruent for Aldo to have watched some cowboy movies, would it?
