The makers of the movie were like, Until Dawn? Never heard of it. Slapped the title on this and said, 'Let's wing it.' Sure, there are Wendigos, but the game made them feel like a cursed myth- none of whatever this movie tried to do. They completely ditched the original story, which I actually loved, with all its butterfly effect chaos and emotional wreckage. But hey, at least they didn't just Ctrl+C, Ctrl+V the game and tried to make something new and original. Bold move. Just kinda missed the soul of it.
