Alex Millar’s review published on Letterboxd:
On rewatch I still adore this. I still believe it to be one of the greatest achievements in sci-fi film history. Also Paul and Chani’s relationship destructing in front of our eyes was even more devastating to watch on second viewing. But, I would be lying if I said it was perfect. This could easily be a perfect film, it just needed to be longer. At times it feels quite convoluted and doesn’t flow as well as I’d want it to, which in hindsight is why I found it so overwhelming on my first viewing. Despite this, it is still one of the best films of the decade. And that score… insane.
