Alex Millar’s review published on Letterboxd:
Completely overwhelming.
Dune: Part Two is a monumental epic of the broadest scale. I really need to watch it again to fully comprehend everything I’ve seen but there is just so much to talk about. Timothée Chalamet commanded my attention as Paul Atreides throughout, with one of the most powerful performances I’ve seen in a long time. Austin Butler steals every scene he’s in as Feyd-Rautha, making him one of the most iconic and memorable villains ever. Zendaya was maybe the biggest surprise as Chani, bringing so much depth and emotion to the story. Javier Bardem was absolutely hilarious as Stilgar. Rebecca Ferguson was frightening as Lady Jessica. I could keep going but right now I think this may well be one of the greatest sci-fi films of all time and definitely requires a rewatch.
