A few weeks since I saw this film and I'm thinking about how Sunniva's tortured political conscience becomes too burdensome for Eivind and their relationship ends yet even so, quietly and unconsciously, he inherits her concern for the environment. And how this endures even if the only time it bubbles to the surface is when he contemplates the sustainability of his grocery choices out loud with his next girlfriend. And how this is a moment that last barely 2 seconds…
