Olivia Holt and Mason Gooding were excellent casting, because making this absurd genre blend of a horrom-com work depends on having likable leads, and boy do they hit it.

This is such a quintessential piece of filmmaking — its influence on the action and scifi genres can't be overstated, and everyone at every level clearly knew exactly what movie they were making, and brought their A game. It's visually stunning; the concept is compelling (even if its world can't necessarily stand up to heavy scrutiny); Reeves, Fishburne, Moss, Weaving et al. keep you engaged with their every move.
