Good movie, but it kind of felt like I was a kid again, back at the School for Troubled Children as we called it, being yelled at yet again. Movies like this make me glad I'm seeing all the animated movies submitted for an Oscar last year. This movie has heart. It doesn't always pull everything off as well as it could, but fuck if it doesn't try. And it succeeds generally. After watching 5.5 out of 18 hours, I feel confident enough to say that I do not like Twin Peaks: The Return. I don't know why I sometimes feel this need to go this far into a show so I can confirm that I don't like it. The odds of me starting to like it after about 3 hours in were very slim. I shouldn't have to prove to the world that I gave it a fair shot.
