Blade Runner is one of my favorite films, and I pull new things out of it every time I watch it. It helps that there are five cuts floating around. This time I decided on the theatrical cut (voiceover, happy ending, etc) as I hadn't seen it in some years.

Always love a William Petersen film, this one doesn't quite excited me as much as it used to.
Still a great entry into the Mann-o-sphere, but it think the storytelling in this one is just a bit disted here and there. Funnily enough I think this version of the story is much more stylish with a more interesting portayal of Will Graham, but Red Dragon has better structure and pacing. Uneven but enjoyable! A lot of great ideas swirling around, execution wasn't always on point but kept me interested throughout, improved throughout runtime to a very strong finish. Some wonderful practical effects as well.
Eva Green didn't grab me until about a half hour in, but the rest of the cast gave great performances.
Was fortunate to watch this at Beyond Fest 2022 and see a Q+A with the director. Gave me a lot of respect for him and insight…
We literally turned this off 20 minutes from the end of the the film we were so frustrated by it. Not trying to yuck the yum of people that hold this as a favored Christmas movie - but it's mean-spirited and centers on one of the most unlikable protagonists I've ever watched in a comedy movie.
