Part 3 is going to be insane, holy shit. I also didn't know this was planning to be a trilogy so when we near the end and I'm panicking at all the unanswered questions - there was huge relief when I realised.

While I'm still not as fully emotionally invested in the characters as I'd like to be (maybe the double feature at IMAX was too overwhelming i haven't allowed myself to fully embrace everything), I'm definitely invested in seeing where the story is headed. Shit is getting real.

Stilger, played by Javier Bardem, is however one of my favourite new characters in cinema. What a blast, and so funny. There aren't a lot of laughs in this, but he gets most of them and my screening was eating it up.
Very glad we got more Zendaya screentime, and Austin Butler... now that's a villain. How do you look like that? Seriously; you're so smooth and psychotic.

Storywise, while invested I'm also a bit confused so might jump on over to YouTube for a bit of clarification but holy shit the visuals and sound design are equally as good, if not even better, than Part 1. My whole damn row was vibrating for the entire third act.

Sandworm riding was cool as fuck too. Yeah this is giving Empire Strikes Back vibes and I'm very here for it. Bring on Messiah!!
