Finished the bank holiday off with this average and at times irritating offering.

The voice cast is surprisingly weak and the film is inundated with crude attempts at modernising a classic British franchise. Even for body horror this is pretty insane and out there. It's a real triumph of the genre, and on a technical level with the prosphetics and makeup. It almost feels like Fargeat has taken the subgenre to its absolute limits.
