As much as this feels like a redo of everything we’ve seen before in the franchise and I’m getting a little tired of the same villains having the same plots, this is by far the best on a technical level. Every single action set piece is just a joy to watch. Henry Cavill is a nice addition and it still probably has the most heart in the franchise. Helicopter scene goes crazy.

Best last 30 minutes of a film I’ve seen in a long time. I sat with a fat grin on my face the whole time. I often say a movie either has the sauce or it doesn’t and this has the fucking sauce. The split diopter shot are you fucking serious.

I wasn’t alive for the first camera, I wasn’t alive for the first film, I wasn’t alive to see the groundbreaking 2001 a Space Odyssey, I wasn’t alive to see Dark Vader tell Luke Skywalker he was his father, I wasn’t alive to see Frodo’s journey to Mordor, but I was alive to see Dune Part 2. I feel privileged. What an experience. Long live cinema.
