The cinematography is beautiful, the performances are great, and as an architect that's a fan of Brutalism I appreciated all the beautiful shots of construction (if anything the movie needed more concrete). But that script man...I think it's common knowledge that the film has two parts and an epilogue, with an intermission in between the first two parts. Part one is a masterpiece. But part two just goes off the rails in ways that I can't really describe, and the the movie effectively ends. Sure there's the epilogue, but we never finish the actual narrative at the core of the film. So I just left the theater feeling weirdly empty?

Again the film is extremely well made and acted so I do recommend people watch it and come to their own conclusions. But for me I was left cold, although I am glad I saw it.
