I unapologetically love Tom Cruise. He's a true filmmaker who does everything in his power to entertain his audience in the most satisfying way. He continously teams up with directors that utilize his skills to the maximum. Top Gun Maverick tops the original in every way. It's got heart, amazing visuals, great performances, and just enough 80s cheese to remind us of the original. Finally, by the end, we get one of the most thrilling third acts since, well Mission: Impossible Fallout. Probably my most anticipated of the year, and it delivered
