i can’t believe we all have to go about living life with this information

the music was one of the greatest parts of this movie, so synthesized but still evocative of dread and sorrow and all the other visceral human emotions

this felt like an immersive museum exhibition, and i feel changed having experienced this. maybe my favorite movie of 2024, but i can’t say i’ll watch again any time soon because it will break me

really really really fun — very stylistically PNW, engaging sound design, silly little plot structure, constantly leading the viewer on & never giving you what you expect, etc etc etc

toed riiiiiiiiight up to the line of being gender commentary,,, but i think ultimately doesn’t really say much,,, and maybe never set out to do so?? but the whole female cop thing??? idk idk idk

felt very Barbarian in its playfulness, but ultimately leaned more towards being self-serious oooh-how-spooky really-makes-you-think,,, so minus the other half star i was ready to award 2/3 of the way thru

also,,,, does K do that????????
