I fully went into this expecting to be bored to death. Not the case. Instead it's got me emotional and missing my grandparents. I guess I had a parallel experience to Billy. Henry Fonda is absolutely hilarious in this.

It has severe "mid-2000's-itis" but I still enjoyed it. The kills were good, Mears was a good Jason, and I just really enjoy watching Padalecki.

Janet Gaynor and Charles Farrell... My goodness. Magnificent. I don't care how many cliches this played into, or if this started those cliches, whatever, it works, and those two had fantastic chemistry.
PS, do **not** watch this on Tubi. The soundtrack is butchered and ruins the experience.
76. 3/6 - Watch a Martin Sheen movie.
I watched the Theatrical cut for my first viewing. I'm sure I'll get around to the Redux or Final Cuts later, but this seemed to be the best place to start.
This cost the equivalent of $170 million as of 2025, and it looks it. It is incredible. The whole thing looks so cool, and yet so utterly harrowing.
