Very striking film. Cool to see Malik’s early work still figuring out his identity. I think however that it’s a story that’s been done before and isn’t all that memorable. I also didn’t really buy the relationship which is kind of the foundation of the story so that’s not great. I feel like if they made him significantly less trigger happy I would be bought it more, because his characters actions get to a point where it becomes laughable and I don’t think it’s what they were going for.
