I think the concept for this film is great, I even think it would have made a pretty solid comedy, so overall I liked this film quite a bit, but there’s one issue. I think the fact that Clint Eastwoods character had to SA those girls was extremely unnecessary. I think it made the character very unlikeable, I mean he was already a dick but being a straight up rapist is just unjustifiable.

2001 a space odyssey is nothing short of a masterpiece, and definitely wasn’t a disappointment.
Now this very abstract movie with a slightly confusing story, but not to an extent where you don’t understand the idea. you can clearly see that every shot has been thought out and executed perfectly to fit the movie, and Stanley Kubrick's style in general. But what makes it so impressive is the fact that this was made in 1968. that’s 56 years ago, and it looks like it’s filmed in the 80s. The creativity it must have taken to make some of these scenes possible at the time is unbelievable. Everything is made by hand, and I legitimately think it’s sad how many effects in movies today are made digitally. I honestly believe this is one of the most influential and important movies in the history of cinema, having shaped the way for sci-fi movies and being a clear inspiration for things like Star Wars and alien, or even more modern films like interstellar.
The soundtrack fits the movie perfectly, with the use of classic music. Most notably “the blue Danube”. I definitely didn’t have to search that up, heh

I knew this would be a masterpiece from the start, as twin peaks is one of my favorite tv shows of all time. I do see why some people might dislike it, it’s definitely… different. David lynch’s visions were crazy, but they were crazy in a good way. May he rest in peace.
Fire walk with me shows the backstory of how Laura died, and just her life in general. and out of the many mysteries and missing pieces in twin peaks, I feel that is the most important. even though I knew a lot from watching the show, I kinda expected Laura to be a different person
Though I miss some of the vibes from the tv show, I do think the visuals and colours are beautiful, especially in the end there.
