💀 Well what a shock.
I think for the first time EVER a reboot/sequel/prequel has come in and stolen the top spot on a franchise ranking of mine!

Now having two in the number one spot will annoy some people, yes it’s a bit of a cop out but let me explain.

Final Destination Bloodlines is no doubt (IMO) the best film of the series. The characters, the special effects, the storyline and of course some utterly appalling death scenes,…

I knew about this movie going in than I wish I did.
For that, unfortunately I’ve rated slightly lower than I would have, if I knew nothing about it. 
Amazing performances all round though.

My rating is subject to change. But what a high to start 2025 on! I feel like I can’t even put into words how beautiful this film is. How haunting, how grotesque how perfect everything is. So I’m not even going to try. 
It’s going to be decisive as hell. I’ve seen so many people say how boring they found it. But this is classic gothic horror, for my fellow EAP fans and lovers of the dark and macabre this is right up our alley, so thank you Robert Eggers, from the bottom of my black goth heart! 🖤🖤🖤

Saw at the cinema for a 30 year anniversary screening. 

Absolute 10/10. Everything about this film, and I mean EVERYTHING is perfect. I don’t think there’s a single moment I think, this isn’t amazing. I just can’t believe it’s 30 years old. You could tell me this film was made in 2010 and I would believe you.
