i can’t really get into all of my thoughts on this now. but i’ll just say — the “mega-church” problem is systematic and top down. this is not just about one indefensibly guilty “bad apple” (as much as the powers-that-be would like to make him the sole scapegoat) but rather a rotten tree.

okay. i liked it. but i can’t help but feel at a distance with these stories within stories (ie french dispatch). they are kind of screenwriting marvels, because i can’t imagine organizing this much into a coherent document.
