Evan Cook’s review published on Letterboxd:
Lead them to paradise
A monument in sci-fi cinematic achievements, built and enriched upon the first one in every way. Villeneuve’s eye for tragedy amidst triumph is unparalleled and with the grand scope and scale of this entry, there is a lot of that unfolding. One of the most patient blockbusters I’ve seen, but when it’s crowd-pleasing sequences unfold, it’s worth the wait.
Watching this with the best crowd, in the most immersive experience possible (D-Box and the Popcorn Bucket) was a real treat. I had a big dumb smile on my face for most of the runtime, especially during worm sequences 🐛
