Everyone in this is so aggressively British.

Sat down with a bunch of hi-chews and a bottle of soju to watch two and a half hours of a kangaroo court and was thoroughly engrossed. The film tries to push you into one of two boxes, but I honestly think that it was just an accident.

This was my first foray into the Mad Max world, and I am kicking myself for taking so long to do so. Furiosa is an epic in every sense, forcibly lifting you up and placing you in its world. Anya Taylor-Joy captures Furiosa's rabid ferocity well, and Chris Hemsworth is hilarious with a great accent. The action scenes are the highlight, but the narrative is far from lacking. My only real complaint would be the time skip leaving out Furiosa's rise to praetorian and development of her relationship with Jack.
