Okay yeah, I loved this a lot better then the first. The 1sts aesthetics just didn’t grab me. Aesthetics is one of the most important aspects for me for a movie. And I kept hearing the hype for it before seeing it in how epic and grand on scale it was, but…yeah. It had some epic grand in scale shots but, the visuals were shockingly dull to me. Nothing grabbed me to make me LOVE IT like so many did. I realize that some of the locations were in the sand but you can make sandy locations on film look more aesthetically interesting. Fury road did. Even Furiosa too. And Dune Part 2 did as well. The first time we see them in the sand showed off the stunning visuals of how it made me feel the heat. I felt the hot temperature of the choices of beaming yellows and orange. It was great. 

The movies great…but I think the stuff I love in this, Nausicaa does better.
